Triangular or Pennant shaped flags are awarded by the F.A. to clubs who have won the F.A. Cup. Therefore if you visit a Ground where they have square or rectangular flags, you will know that that club hasn't won the F.A. Cup.

The shape of the flags lets the ref know whos given in a brown envelope and therefore must win!!!!
