No, you aren't imagining it. I learned alot watching the Oprah show on this. The thicker cup may be pushing what you have out in other directions. Subtle, but it makes a difference. You might have to try some other sizes, especially in the cup size, to see if it helps.

Probably not, you are most likely in the wrong bra. It may be the wrong band size, cup size, or just a bad style.

Let's say you are wearing a 34B. You may need a 36B, a 34C, a different coverage in the cup, a different way of support, or any number of things.

Go to a good store and get a free bra fitting. Then ask the sales clerks to help you find a bra with a thicker material, non-padded, etc... They can help you find the right bra from their selection. Try every one on before you buy, and put your shirt back on so you know how it looks under clothing. A good look might take going through many rejected bras, but it will be worth it. If you like a certain style, but it still looks bad, try the same thing in another (larger) size.

The main reason that bras add pounds is due to it being too tight somewhere. The cup or band doesn't fit, so excess skin is pushed out in all directions making you look "chubbier."

I think that when girls where a size too small..not the cup but the rib cage size it makes them look a lot bigger. I liked being a 34 even though I should have been a 36, and so I wore the 34 and finally noticed that the skin on my back kinda popped out on top and underneath the band. Lol sorry if that sounds gross I am actually pretty petite (a sz 6) but it made me look so much bigger like I had rolls! So I don't know about the padding but get measured and wear that size!

You may be imagining this, but if this particular bra is ill-fitted, then that can explain why you might look chubbier. If it's too tight for example, it will make the surrounding skin look fat instead of it laying flat like it would in a properly fitted bra.

Yes. Try to find one that fits perfectly.
However, also the clothes that you wear over your bra may make you look chubbier.

I would need to see a pic. Weight and height alone mean nothing. Some people can be 107 and look deathly, while others can wear 107 lbs and look chunky. I think it depends on body type and genetics. So yeah, u might be a little chumley.

Sometimes you bra can do that to you if its really thick. Because it makes not just your boobs look thick it makes you yourself look thick. And sometimes your not imagining anything, just ask one of your best friends and tell them to answer honestly, and see what they have to say.

yeah its true your bra can also do the opposite and make you appear slimmertoo small and you overflow which is fattening
too big or not hoisted enough and you seem fatter
padding where its not needed is not good either

best thing get yourself properly measured and buy a good fitting uplifting bra

I wear bras like that too, and I haven't noticed anything, it might just be in your head.
