On September 15th, the Catholic Pope made some desparaging remarks about Mohammad (actually he repeated someone elses remarks):
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached".
Statement originally made in 1391 by the erudite Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Paleologus.
I dont see any Muslims standing up against terrorism NOW and its clear they've been doing this since BEFORE 1391!!!
SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME how the Muslims of the world have ANY ROOM to be angry about this!
I have no pact with Christianity but excuse the Pope for REPEATING a statement made in 1391 that is true today.

LOUCAS A <== You didnt address the question at all. Just because the Christians were once terrorists - this makes it okay for Muslims?

Hell no. The pope spoke the truth. The truth hurts. Muslims have been killing europeans for centuries. Thats what gave rise to the crusades not the other way around. Do the research. I did. In the middle east, visiting europians were being slaughtered by mohammed and his hordes. Islam has one goal and that goal is world domination. Just some extremists, no, in general all muslims want conquest.

You are a fool. Do you have any right to be so offended by the reaction of Muslims? Of course you do, because everyone has a right to be angry about things that others have said.
The Pope should have been more cautious. If I were to start repeating things that Hitler said then I would offend people. Just because you're repeating what someone else said doesn't mean it's not going to offend people.

It seems to me that Muslims all around the world are fighting terrorism the same as we are. Look at Bali or Egypt shootings or Beslan. Hundreds of examples exist where they are targets too.
Just remember that things that were said between 1100 and 1400 were attempts to get christians to take up war with the muslims and as we have seen with current day pilitics the truth is not always the truth.

My problem with Muslims is that they are not objective in their thinking.
Are they the only religion whose founder have been spoken about. Have many times have people spoken against Jesus Christ. People have made alot of derogatory statements about Jesus. People have even acted derogatory movies about him, and hell was not let loose.
One thing about the truth is that, the truth will always defend itself. The truth cannot be killed no matter how much you try.
If anybody will have to carry matchets and guns to defend the his/her god, I only wonder that god is the true God. God can defend himself. You don't to kill his creatures just to defend him.
Let's face the truth. Let all these madness stop. Muslims need to stop all this madness.

The problem is, that even when they have no right to speak, Muslims open their mouths anyway to cry murder.
That's because they are so used to everybody falling over their own legs in their zeal to please them and keep them happy. This has become almost like a Pavlovian reaction, especially in Europe.

No, I don't think they have any right to be angry, considering the terror, death and destruction *some* of them have brought upon the world....in the name of God. Of course, it doesn't take much to get them angry, so you know they will be.
