having a racing heart after a cigarette never had it before i do suffer from anxiety and depression and panic attacks for the last 5 and a half years it scaring me ive tried giving up smoking and tried patches to chewing gums etc nothing works

well racing heart either indicates anxiety attack, or an allergie...it could be a mixture of both, every time you have a cig. your worrying about the effcts now, which could cause you to have an axiety attack...it's hard to quit, i know i've tried a dozzen or so times..and i worry about it all the time...try taking half a benadryl, not only will it help with the anxiety, but it will help if it is an allergy and it may even calm you enough not to need that smoke.

i have stopped it heart but you can do it my 1st cig always gave me a head spin and heart race
