Go for a walk in the park and just enjoy nature, look at happy children, take in all of your surroundings good and bad. See that the good outweighs the bad tenfold. Get a hug. Tell some one you love that you love them. Take a weekend and go camping....just "be".

Um, are you Antonio Banderas? If so, I loved you with Angelina Jolie, if not, the best advice to be happy is to live for today, and in times of stress or sorrow remember "this too shall pass".

I agree with Sufi, my martial arts practice has made a huge difference in my ability to relax my mind when I need to... I would also add to that several expensive hobbies that will give you that "one with the universe" sort of feeling: scuba diving, snow skiing/boarding, sky diving, etc.

have a practice like:
yoga, martial arts, karate, tai chi, judo, aikido.
have a regular physical activity that is meditative in nature.
this is the key to happiness.
you can't manufacture it psychologically.
