Geoffrey Bayldon is the actor who played "Catweazle".
A television adaptation of Worzel Gummidge was produced by Southern Television for ITV, written by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall, and starring Jon Pertwee as Worzel and Una Stubbs as Aunt Sally, a life-size fairground doll. The Crowman, who made Worzel and some of his other scarecrow friends, is played by Geoffrey Bayldon (better known for his starring role as the title character of Catweazle).

I loved that programme, the guys name was Geoffrey something, because of that programme I still say telling bone for phone!!

Yes I know of Cat Weezle! I have a friend who is Dutch and she sent me a picture of him off the web. Weird and funny, makes me laugh. I'll ask my friend who the actor was but don't know if I can find my way back to this question to give the answer. I'll do my best tho.
