They're so heavy and bamboos are so frail. How come the pandas don't fall?

I don't think pandas climb bamboo very often - they eat the bamboo, and obviously prefer to be around bamboo which they can break off with their hands, rather than the type of bamboo you can climb.

That said, bamboo is not just the small weak stuff you make garden canes out of - bamboo grows to 75 feet tall and 7 inches wide.

Bamboo is not a tree, it's a type of grass. The pandas don't need to climb it, they can just pull it down to get at the tender parts of the shoot.

Pandas don't climb, they break off bamboo shoots and eat them.

They have a strong grip and claws to help them stay on.

Bc pandas have mad skills duh how could you not know that omg lol jk no bc they have very strong bone structure and they have very long and thick claws
