Also natural songwriters do they write songs without the beats?

Every song has a beat...it just happens. Now whether or not you can find it is up to you but it's there

Write the song and see. My boyfriend is a songwriter, and it seems that when the songs come out of his head, they already have a beat. But that's his style. Explore for yourself.

many songwriters find a basic beat and adapt words to go with it... although having some words prepared may help you to find a tune to go with it. I find that in songwriting you have to find your own way of doing things... so try it :)
