It's quite easy. Which part of it don't you get?
The pattern is :
a(b+c)=a*(b+c)=(a*b)+(a*c)
(* means multiplying)
Here we have:
a=5,
b=2x,
and c=1
So:
5(2x + 1) = 5 * (2x+1) =( 5 * 2x) + (5*1) = 10x + 5
(note that 2x=2*x and 5*2x=5*2*x=10x)
Now, if you really want to learn, try to do the rest yourself

Once again it is the Distributive Property. First do (5)(2x) to get 10x. Then do (5)(1) to get 5. The answer is 10x+5

You multiple the 5 by everything in the ( ), so here you go:
5 * 2x = 10x
5 * 1 = 5
Your answer: 10x + 5

C'mon Ryan, we can't do all your homework for you. I showed you how to do these on the last question.
One more time -
5(2X+1)= (5x2X)+(5x1) you understand that parentheses in this case mean to multiply by the number outside, right?
Then, 5x2X=10X and 5x1=5, so your answer is 10x+5.
