Vitamins C and E, which are neccessary to health, are antioxidants, so I wouldn't worry about some green tea.
Antioxidants stop free radical reactions, which are quite destructive to cells.

Tannins in tea may interfere with mineral absorbtion, particularly with iron salts, but the main concern (The Pill Book Guide to Natural Medicines) is with the caffeine portion of the beverage. There were no listed interactions or cautions beyond this.
I drink 3-4 cups of tea a day. See Jean Carper's Stop Aging Now and Miracle Cures for a good discussion of the benefits fo this amazing drink.
Good luck!

Much Chinese people say it too.
But according to my experiences, it couldn't be like that. I am now consume 5x200cc green tea (maybe more) , with cordycept and ling zi ( once a day ). It's really what i drink everyday.
I don't have any problem with herbal supplements. I have visited many herbal doctors, but they did not say like that.
Usually Chinese people drink more concentrated black (red) tea to reduce their oily meals. They believe tea can make more healtier.
