we are just more developed, can a fish survive with out water. we have to addapt to things first.

it's amazing how humans can adapt to changes physically, mentally and socially...the answer to your question is yes, humans are more capable in doing more things than in the dark ages, mainly because we have evolved in a way that will help us survive and push the limits of our capabilities....
your second question..yes, a city dweller can survive in a forest, island or wherever you put him even w/out a mobile or a match...as i have said, we have this uncanny ability to adapt to changes in our environment. it's part of our human nature to survive, so our body and mind will automatically move into gear to help us survive...hope i answered your question...

Probably not without completely freaking out. It's true, we're more dependent on tech. I mean, they were doing brain surgery in the dark ages with the people being away and not drugged.

No, for all our progress we are no better off than we were when we were cave dwellers.
