When asked this question, answer honestly - if you don't, it'll come back to haunt you later. Research the position beforehand and tell them how you can do the job based on your experience, talent and know how and how you would exceed their expectations in the position once you're hired.

hopefilly you will have done a bit of background work on the company, when this question is asked you need to convince them that you are the one for the job, if you are good at what you do tell them so, let them know you can work alone or as part of a team, let them know you can hit the ground running etc, tell them you think it's time for you to move forwards and you think this company is the place where you will be able to use the experience you have whilst gaining other invaluable experience, thus allowing you to move forwards . good luck

Because i work hard and i feel the belongings to the company as you can see from my CV that each of the job i've been doing, the duration is getting longer, so i am sure that the job you offer me would be the longest ever in my career.

My answer was, "because I know what I am doing", it didn't mean to come out like that, but they all nodded their head and I got the job.

I only said though, because I really did know what I was doing.

If anyone asked me crap like that I would tell them where to go. If they cant figure it out from the interview what the hell do they want. employers do ask questions like that to play with people. they think they can basically take the piss cause you go looking to them for a job. Stand up for yourself, hold on to your dignity and tell 'em to get stuffed if they ask you crap like that!

Because I'm honest, reliable and uncomplicated. Works for me. The uncomplicated is refreshing to hear and isn't used much so say it now before it becomes just another line.
