Well, he has served England well, and remember his free kick vs. Greece which got them into World Cup 2002? However, his abilities are limited and he was never a true winger anyway.Although his deadball skills are tremendous,his overall contribution cannot be the same as Gerrard, Rooney or Lampard.

No it was a case of good riddance We done rubbish in the world cup because he didnt play well n kept puking up on the field plus we have youngsters coming up that outclass beckham anyday anywhere

Yes and No....Beckham has had his days of glory and has been fortunate in his career....England appear to be playing a far more cohesive game of tactics since David has not been around.

David beckham is good at only free kicks.
he cannot defend, he cannot be a good slolid mid field or he can not play foward.
