Mariah definitely, ask Beyonce to try and sing that high tones that is so easy for Mariah to do!! Mariah can do a whole spectrum of songs, Opera-like, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and even Country if you'd asked her! Can Beyonce do that? But remember both have a lot of talent, both are good, it is a question of choice, who do you like best, it is in the eye of the beholder. Good luck!

Both sing very well, but it's all about Beyonce now. Mariah was more back in the day.

I have never considered what Mariah does to be called singing. She screeches. Of the two, beyonce is the only one who actually sings . . .

They both are talented, what does it matter who sings best. Appreciate each for the talents they have individually. I do however find Mariah more attractive than Beyonce, but they are both much too young for me!

Mariah, hands down. The woman's voice has how many pitches that only opera singers obtain. Her mother being one of course. Her voice goes so high that you flinch automatically when she gets there. Mariah has the years and the experience to qualify as diva status(already been given that title by VH1 a few years back)

although both has been sucessful in their career I would have to say Beyonce, its not about who can hit the high notes because some say that is the only thing that mariah can do.
