For years they where crying & whining WAHHHHH!!!!!!! This is not fair!!!!!! The Yankees always have a high Payroll!! Wahhhh!!!!! Boston Red Sox & the Braves have a high payroll & buy championships!!! WAHHHH!!!!!! I don't see them crying now after they did the exact same thing that they for years cried that it's destroying Baseball. What hypocrisy.

Hey Snappy. The Mets have the exact same payroll they did last year. And listen to sports talk in NY, the Mets fans never cry about payroll. Everybody in baseball complains about the Yankees payroll. You're so wrong about this one. Stop whining because your team is not making the playoffs.

Hey! As a lifetime Met fan I protest! The Met payroll - as MOST MLB teams - is too high, but it has been for YEARS!! It certainly hasn't helped them! This year they are successful because they FINALLY came together as a team. They don't depend on ONE player to hit the long ball for them. They are a collection of scrappy, focused players, who collectively are getting on base and bringing each other home. They are a joy to watch this season, and I haven't been able to say that for alot of years now. I pray they make it to the Series, but even if they don't, I am proud to be a Mets fan right now!
