The G5 has been out in Canada for a few years now. It's only new to the U.S. It's based on the Chevrolet Cobalt.
It's a GM so quality is always suspect. We own a Cobalt and like it though we have had some minor cosmetic issues that we have yet to have fixed (mostly because GM's service departments suck ***.)

It's an "okay" car, but compared to a Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, it is not in the same league.
Now you know why the Pontiac cost less when you bought it.

well obviously they are not good cars - isn't this covered by a warrenty??? I had one as a rental and hated it. WHat made you buy one???
