Some of the rich would steal some of it. Some of the previously poor would steal some of it. Some of the recipients of it would waste it. Some of the charities that distribute it would divert it toward excessive administration costs. Some of the recipients of it would benifit.

The poor would eat more that day and still be in the same financial situation as they were before...
Money doesn't help the poor... educating them on how to NOT be poor is the key... but MOST will not listen which is why they are where they are.... We all choose to be exactly where we are in life... We have choices everyday to make...It IS those choices and how we handle what life throws at us that makes us who we are.
I choose to have money and KEEP it !

It would never get to them because some greedy #@%&ole would find a way to steal it. Great idea though! If people were awarded with wealth directly proportional to their efforts toward the benefit of humanity, the world would be a much better place to live.

What would happen? You'd have a charitable fund about the size of the one Bill Gates founded.

Everyone already contributes far more than this. Every little bit helps though, as long as it is channeled through the proper programs.
