People ask questions when they want to find out something they dont know.....this is how you gain knowledge. Some people who post answers are so nasty.,they are lucky they know the answers.

This is a very good and logical question although you didn't get the answer you were looking for .
I read once a very nice phrase it says : Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty . I liked it very much .Smile at a tired clerk , say some nice words to someone who feels down ,kindness begins slowly with a single act .We have to try it ,you have nothing to lose .

You know, some people I think gain pleasure out of being rude and unpleasant I would try to ignore them. Yes, they are lucky to know the answers but if they are so educated then they could at least be nice about sharing their knowledge, I'll try and help you anytime. Have a nice day and keep smiling!!

a..either because they dont know the answer.
b..They just want the two points.
c..They know the answer but are mean spirited,and wont help others.
d. ..Sometimes the questions warrant a non-answer
e.. Some people do it not to be offensive but because they havent taken the question seriously and have a funny sense of humour.
Whatever you do only take notice of the answers you need and ignore the others.
Sometimes when I've asked a serious question I've had the odd funny remark...and to be honest depending on the content has actually made me smile.
Dont Worry...just enjoy the parts of yahoo answers you want to.

Because some people are just plain rude and unpleasant. Its their nature.
Because some people are ignorant and this is the only way they can respond.
Because some people crave attention and think this is a way to get it.
Because some people believe it to be funny, i.e., a twisted sense of humor.
Its the way of the world and beyond your control (other than reporting) so shrug it off.

I know right, they make me gag too. I just over read their pathetic answer, report the abuse and move on to the next. Some people don't have a reason for their actions and they don't have nothing else to do, they probably sit in front of the computer all day and night without touching the soap and water. Don't have a job, in debt, need to get laid, need a woman or man in there life, or just got dumped, crazy, wants to chat with someone because no one at home or in their social circle wants to talk with them. We got to just deal with these people, because they have nothing better else to do. I usually don't use this word, but they are stupid!!!

i know, it happens to me as well as many others. unless they are angry in response to something i said which they deem derogatory and of which i agree with then they have every right to be upset, yet i think people who are ill mannered and rude just for the sake of it and to get points are just idiots really. for me, if i see a bad comment to a question that i posted that deliberately takes the piss out of me, i'd give it the thumbs down and move onto the next one. i wouldn't waste my time with them really.
of course they'd never do this in public of course, but as we're online and they don't know us that well then you always worry about what people will say on here and other places. the problem with yahoo! is they can't distinguish what is and isn't offensive and so we have to report the problem to them, which at times can be ridiculous, seeing as they do edit out swear words and all that.

I don't know why some people answer rudely.It's just not on is it?All you have to do is give a nice friendly answer!That's all you want!Hope you haven't had too many rude or unpleasant answers to your questions.

People are horrible and nasty to people becuase they have a low self esstem, they get their kicks outta hurting peoples feelings when really there are just terrified of some one doing it to them, so they simply do it first. makes sense if you think about it, but dont watch them "nasty" people, they are deeply unhappy inside and wont live long with all that anger and frustration boiling up inside. leave em be, you sound nice though, av a lovely day x

They probably have no friends, which is why they are rude on Answers - they have to make up for their inadequacies somehow!.
If they do have friends, I feel really sorry if any of them ever have a problem. Mind you, perhaps it will serve them right when they have a problem and they get nothing but rude responses!

when people answer a question its only their opinion, weather its right or wrong. maybe its more to do with you, if you read something you dont agree with, ignore it or report it, but dont cry about it. there are people out here who are just plain nasty and thats the same in all walks of life, learn to blank it out.
