Trick question. He wasn't married.
Although he was a devout Catholic, Galileo fathered three children out of wedlock: two daughters and one son. All were the children of Galileo and Marina Gamba. Because of their illegitimate birth, both girls were sent to the convent of San Matteo in Arcetri at early ages.
Virginia (1600–1634) who took the name Maria Celeste upon entering a convent. She was Galileo's eldest child, the most beloved, and inherited her father's sharp mind. She died on April 2, 1634, and is currently buried with Galileo at the Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze.
Livia (b. 1601) took the name Suor Arcangela, she was sick for most of her life at the convent.
Vincenzio (b. 1606) was later legitimized and married Sestilia Bocchineri.

We would talk many times of his life. His father was Vincenzo Galilei, a gifted musician, composer and mathematician who greatly influenced his young son. Galileo was the oldest of seven children borne to Vincenzo and his wife Giulia Ammannati on February 15, 1564 in Pisa. As a young boy, Galileo loved to paint and often said that if he could have chosen a path to take in life, it would have been as a painter, not a mathematician. He also wished to join the Jesuit order when he was 14 after having attended the Jesuit school at the monastery of Vallombrosa, just outside the city of Florence. His family had moved to Florence when Galileo was ten. But his father had other ideas. since they were not a rich family, his father wanted Galileo to become a cloth merchant. Galileo objected vehemently but eventually chose another career path of his father's choosing, that of medicine.

I suppose it depends on how one defines wife. The short answer is Marina Gamba. She bore three children while liing in Galileo's house. His actions regarding them seem to indicate that he felt responsible for them to some degree so he may have been the father. They used his name. For more information, you might begin with the following link.
She married another man while Galileo was alive. He remained friends with both of them. There is no mention of divorce.

I'm not a huge fan of Galileo but I really like Galilea. I just think "Leo" would be a weird nickname because Galileo is supposed to be pronounced "Gali- lay-o" as if rhyming with "may" not "lee-o". At least here in the States. Other names up your alley might be Orion, Linnaea/Linnea (a flower but also related to Carl Linneaus, however thats spelled), Nova. Good luck!
