Thanks for all the congrats---here's what we are going to do---we are going camping to the UP of MI. Tomorrow we are taking a boat ride to see the Pictured Rocks and then have steak with wine and then the evening will be with candles, soft music and , well, you probably know the rest.

It is really hard to say. My recommendation would be go someplace that you both enjoy and that you have good memories from.
If you had a little more time before then I would have recommended go back where you went for your honeymoon. That would be a cool way to celebrate your 40th..
Happy Anniversary! 40 years together is awesome.. I am not even going to make it to 20 probably. I am 30 and still not married. Oh well.. No matter what you do just enjoy each other! Love is a precious thing..

I think a nice picnic in a secluded forest would be wonderful share a bottle of your favorite wine and some cheese with some nice wraps of your choice.

monday will be me and my wifes 7th, hoping to reach what you have, congrats- try going to the very first spot you met no matter where it was and set a table with champagne, candle and lay 40 roses on it. good luck.

Oh, wow. That is really some staying power. I salute you and your honey! I'd say go to a nice quiet restaurant, then go home and chase each other around the house.
