1. Take some antihistamines and decongestants to relieve the inflammation that is in your ear and sinuses. Ask the pharmacist what she recommends.
2. Lay your head on a flat surface and with a Q-tip dipped in Hydrogen peroxide, squeeze a few drops down into your ear canal. Let it fizz for a few minutes, tip your head the other way to drain it out and do it again. Do both ears this way.
3. If your ears begin hurting (ear ache) or you get a sore throat please go to your doctor for some antibiotics.
That feeling of water in the ears is either from an infection or a buildup of pressure in the middle ear which is usually caused by the eustachian tubes in your sinuses being plugged, or crimped shut. The antihistamine/decongestant will relieve the pressure in your sinuses, which in turn will help to open up the Eustachian tubes, which in turn will relieve the pressure in your ears. I recommend sudafed and afrin nasal spray. Never use the afrin for more than 3 days or it will cause your sinuses to swell shut.

I have been having ear akes for the past year. After taking precipition meds the dr. gave me and the ear akes keep coming back. My cousin came over and rolled up a peice of paper into an funnel put the small part of the funnel in my ear and lit the other end. I could feel the heat, then my ear clearing up in a matter of minuets. At first i thought this was an come on but now when i feel an ear infection coming up i repeate this procedure and im a matter of minuets the ear ake is gone. This is an old remendy where back in the old days the parents would blow smoke into the ear to cure an ear infection. The ear akes are getting fauther apart and now i do not have to run to the dr. suffer for three days before the meds work and sometimes get the meds about the time the ear infection is about to end.
Also be careful that you do not set you hair on fire.

gently clean your ear otu with a qtip. If you don't feel better. Drink lots of fluid and take soem tylenol. Give it a few days if it's not gone then see your doctor. Try to stay away from antibotics for an ear infection due to the chance of resisting them when you actually need the antibotic. If it's an ear infection give it about 1 week or 1 1/2 weeks to heal! Get well soon

If it is just an ear ache sweet oil will help. You can buy it at any drug store, Wal-Mart etc. Put a few drops in your ear then put a cotton ball in to help the sweet oil to stay in your ear. If this doesn't help you may have an ear infection. If this is the case you need to go to your doctor and get an antibiotic.

No it's not an ear infection. Sounds more like you need your ears syringed. Trust me if you had a real ear infection you'd know it.
It hurts like nothing on earth makes toothache seem like a breeze in comparison.

Sounds like you have fluid in the ear. It happens when your Eustacian tube (the tube that drains the ear cavity to the throat) is blocked or irritated.
Drink lots of water to encourage the tube to unblock, and sleep with your head raised with an extra pillow to facilitate draining. If it doesn't clear in two days or if you start feeling pain, see a doctor.

i had the same feeling before for a week. its probably a flu that hadn't been cured completely or a beginning of a really bad cold
what you need to do is to see the doctor, but don't worry because it will take you only a couple of days to feel better.
