How far from the center must the 112lb mother sit in order to balance the 48ib daughter sitting 5ft from the center?

Torque of the daughter is
48 * 5 = 240 lb-ft

The torque of the mother must be the same:
112 * ? = 240 lb-ft
? = 240/112 = 2.14 ft
