Believe it or not the best thing to do is to forget about getting a specific letter grade. You have to remember that the grade you get is just someones opinion and not really a reflection of what you have learned. If you go into a class and know absolutely nothing about the subject, study hard and do your absolute best then you have "learned" an A.
It's not so much what you "earn" as what you learn.

The next thing I would do is try and figure out what each professor is looking for. Have a talk with them and tell them what your goal is and ask them what they suggest you could study or read extra that would help in your learning process. (not for extra credit but for extra knowledge and insight).

As long as you always do your best and give it your best then that is all you can ask of yourself. Let the thought of what grade you will get go. There is more to business management than just having good grades. Being able to work with people and motivate them goes a long way. All the greatest concepts and ideas in business mean nothing if you don't have the ability to communicate well and motivate people.

Good luck in your studies!

There is a story about a beautiful young student who slinks into her professor's office and says (in a sulty voice) "Professor -- I'll do ANYTHING to get an A in this class."

He looks at her & says "Great -- do the work!"

You want an A -- do the work. Keep up with the reading. When you don't understand something -- ask questions. Do any homework. Think about what is important. This last point is key -- after each class, ask yourself "What are the key things I learned in this lesson?"

1. Be dedicated to your studies and don't get distracted from your main goal.

2. When in doubt, don't hesitate to ask your colleages and/or lecturers.

3. Be regular to the classes and pay attention.

4. Use mnemonics to remember something that's difficult.

These tips are from personal experience and are rather general. Good luck!
