That old chestnut is one of the greatest urban myths ever told.
No there are not more people living than have lived. In fact the long dead out number the living by about ten to one.
If zombie dawn ever really did happen we'd be well out numbered.

Dead. There have been anywhere from 50B to 100B people who have lived, vs the 6.5B that are alive today. To do this, you would want historical world population counts and life expectancy rates to estimate number of yearly births. The sum of the births for all the years will verify the 50B to 100B number.

It is an urban legend that claims there are more people alive today than have ever lived. It is not true.
