If you are due on the 28th Dec i am assuming that you get your diary out & count the weeks off every Thursday... Pregnancy lasts 40 weeks, so if you havent done so yet, i'd mark my diary or calendar & starting on Thurs 28 Dec put the number 40, then on Thurs 21Dec st put 39, & Thurs 14th put 38, etc etc etc...

Counting the months of pregnancy is different, some wrongly count every 4 weeks as another month, but that is not so. There is roughly 9 months & 1 week of pregnnacy, sooooo......
To count off the months you count them off on the same day of the month - in your case on day 21. You are 5 months along now, & will be 6 months on the 21st of September & 7 months on the 21st of October, etc etc etc...

I hope this helps - good luck with your pregnancy & beyond.

20 weeks = 5 months
24 weeks = 6 months
28 weeks = 7 months
32 weeks = 8 months
36 weeks = 9 months.
Remember that you are pregnant for 40 weeks which equals 10 lunar months.
You don't have to tell people how many months you are just tell them how many weeks you are. Let them do the math.
Also remember that you are pregnant for 2 weeks before you are actually pregnant. For example I am 19 weeks, but my baby age since conception is 17 weeks.

Well, you could say, I don't know what month, but it's 24 weeks. Or you could figure out that since there are 4 weeks in a month, you can divide 24 by 4 and get an answer.

6 is the answer. 24/4 is 6. 4 weeks per month....you are 6 months, whether people believe you or not.

I'm 25 weeks 5 days, I just tell everyone, "26 weeks" If they are smart enough to figure out the months on their own with simple math, more power to them. I go by weeks, not months. I usually round up or down depending on # days. 25 weeks 2 days, would be 25 weeks. 25 weeks 5 days, 26 weeks.

If your 6 months, your 6 months. They don't have to believe you.
