Dubai truly is one of the best tourist spots in the middle east specially if one is a shopaholic . Also cos of the presence of so many Indians u hardly feel out of place . The gold souk etc are must visit places . and yes the night life too rocks . However the city is too concrete ( except Abudhabi ) unlike other places of the middle eats like Lebanon, Tehran etc which were once considered extremely good . In case u visit Dubai do not miss the authentic Lebanese food that u get there .

I love Dubai. So many great hotels and restaurants. Nice beaches, deserts, shopping malls, Wild Wadi water park, the mall of the Emirates with its indoor ski hill and the Gold Souk. I have been to Dubai more times then I can think to tell you.

It used to be Beirut until Israeli construction workers moved in. It probably comes down to 'where is the safest place' in the Middle East.

Middle East is not a small place, with so many cultures and languages. but i think Jerusalem is the only place where cultures meats cultures.
