My monitor has stopped showing a picture altogether . It is plugged in at both ends.What could cause this?

If the power is on...
The light will be amber if it is not receiving a signal from the computer...usually because the it isn't powered up.
The light is green is receiving a signal from your computer. Check your brightness and contrast settings. Make sure they aren't set too low.
If the light is green, brightness and contrast are set at max and you still see nothing it is time for a new monitor because the other one burned out.

It could b a bad (no longer working) monitor. If you green LED light (on the monitor) is blinking Ur graphic card may need replacing.

I had 2 replace mine about 1 month ago because mine monitor was no longer displaying an image.

main causes: Plug loose in wall socket. Monitor should have a yellow lite on if plugged it, green when receiving a signal from the computer.
Plug loose connection at back of tower. Remove and reinsert firmly.
