there had been case studies of women who had an intact hymen, even after giving birth.so if a baby can pass through there and not damage the hymen, then how can we possibly expect to find “proof” of sexual act by examining the hymen. Specifically, the study took 36 pregnant adolescents and examined them for “penetrating trauma” (evidence that something had been inserted into their vagina). Out of the 36 exams, only 2 had definitive findings of penetration. If 34 pregnant girls show no evidence of penetration, so exam of hymen could be no more conclusive
we sometimes forget that the hymen has elastic properties - it stretches, that’s the way it was built. Some stretch more than others, some are smaller or shaped differently. Since hymen’s have so many variations

you can't get pregnant without having sexual intercourse, However there is a remote chance of getting pregnant if the penis or sperm comes in contact with the mouth of your vagina when you are fertile, that is, in the presence of your wet, slippery mucus.

No, it would not block the passage of sperm. You hymen has a hole in the center of it because your menstrual blood has to escape through it. If semen (come) comes into contact with the vagina or the surrounding area such as your outer vaginal lips and thighs pregnancy can occur because the sperm in the seminal fluid can swim into the vagina. Sperm can be transfered through precum or pre ejaculate as well as actual ejaculate so if that was wiped on you or if you were fingered after he or you touched the fluid you can also become pregnant. If you think you may be pregnant, wait to see if you miss your period and if you do, take a test. You can get on for free from the health department or you can buy a test for $1 at Dollar General. Take it first thing in the morning with your first pee of the day and try to wait until after you miss your period because it will be most accurate then. Good luck!

Yes...Answer of "bcd95" is most apropriate!!

Sperms are motile and very tiny...can go upwards by their OWN movement throu hymenal opening (throu' which menstrual blood comes....THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO SAY "NO" for answer!!!!)

Hymen if "IMPERFORATE" then only no possibility...Imperforate term means NO ESCAPE OF MENSTRUAL BLOOD at all unless surgically incised...

So in "Menstruating VIRGINGS having intact hymen but having opening which allows escape of menstrual bol...can allow the sperm to ascend upwards.

There are many examples of occurance of such type of pregnancies

yup. the sperm can pass through the hymen but that has a small chance of happening and getting u pregnant. As u know the sperm is very small and though large in size in the cellular community it still can pass through the hymen because of its microscopic size.

and if you have a cesarian section delivery your hymen would still be intact.

but if you give birth in the normal delivery there is no chance in hell that your hymen won't break and the pain in giving birth would probably be twice as painful heheh...

I have heard stories of women who became pregnant after swimming in ponds or waters where men had been recently 'frolicking' - they may be apocryphal. Human sperm cannot last too long under such conditions, but the hymen is not a complete barrier to such things and it only takes one spermatazoan to fertilize an egg. Must be one heck of a tough little guy to make it against such incredible odds!

Probably not..here's what planned parenthood had to say.

"When does pregnancy begin?

Medical and scientific experts agree that pregnancy begins with implantation. It happens several days after fertilization when the developing pre-embryo is implanted in the wall of the uterus. Implantation begins the release of hormones that are necessary to support a pregnancy.

In short, a woman is not pregnant until the developing pre-embryo is attached to her and gets nutrients from her. For example, a fertilized egg in a petri dish does not represent a pregnancy. "

YES. If a man ejaculates on or near your vaginal opening, his boys can work their way into your vagina and meet up with an egg and BOOM...imaculate conception!!!!!!!
