I'd suggest something from "Who's Line Is It Anyway."
Scenes from a hat is always good (and can be very clean).
Alphabet - the players have to tell a story, but each sentence must start with the next letter of the alphabet.
If you have a talented pianist, you could make someone get up and improvise a song.
There are some great ones on the website linked below. Just search through, try and catch a couple episodes on Fox Family (I think it's 10:00 p.m. through the week), and you'll get the basic idea.
The cool thing is that there will be so many kids, that there will be a good audience for the performers.

This is a good one, even more if the people is arriving at different times.
Form a group of about 10 people, one of the participants shouldn't hear the instructions:
Explain the 10 people group that the "victim" will ask questions one by one of the group, the answer shouldn't be "yes" or "not" but more detailed information, e.g. what is your favorite color, what did you eat yesterday, what were you wearing at your birthday party, etc.
The first answer should be anything, doesn't matter, BUT form the second answer on is the key of the game, second participant should answer the question of the first participant trying not to give a hint to the victim.
Let's say: first question: what is your favorite colors Answer: hamburgers, second question: what did you have for breakfast, answer: it could be the bright ones (answering the actually the first one), and so on.
It depends on how clever is the victim and how smart is the way people answer the degree of fun.
Then, when the victim realizes the key, you can change the victim, somebody that hasn't heard about the key of the game.
good luck.

Good question. Ya know, I am a AWANA Trek leader for the 6th-8th graders at our church. We start our AWANA program next week, and I am still trying to find out what games they can play during activity time. We need games that will be challenging & fun, but not childish. IM me! Maybe we can share ideas?
Looks like me and you have the same issue.
If you do not know what AWANA is, here is there link.

"Breathe On Me" - from the hymn by the same name: divide into teams; each person is given a plastic spoon; each team is given a life saver candy; the candy must be passed down the line from spoon to spoon w/o using hands; it usually never makes it to the end of the line b/c of so much laughter!
