Smoking is drug addiction , but never catagorized that way. Who would willfully inhale carbon monoxide and other poisons unless chemically addicted. Im an ex smoker of 15 years and its still called a "habit', thats a crock. Its pure nicotine (drug) addiction and people are dieing slowly But hey, we need to put our seatbelts on, thats the law. Goes to show you , cigarettes are money, lives are secondary.

For real. I quit smoking 3 weeks ago and now I'm trying to build up the nerve to quit weed (which has replaced the smoking) and I NEED HELP!!!! I need ideas. I have a 3 year old son and NO PATIENCE unless I am high. I need ideas from ex smoker to help me get off all smoking for good.
I am clueless and weak. There should definately be an addiction section if not just smoking.

You are right, it is an important issue but as you've been told also by the previous answerers, there are a lot of questions asked on this issue ( I have also answered quite a lot on these ). To find them, it is enough to type some key words, like quit smoking in the Search for questions area that is in the upper part of your page and all the questions shown in the link given by the previous answerer will pop up.

Well, this is a question about smoking. It's not like you're the first person ever in the history of the world to bring it up.

i actually think a smoking support/information group format would be more useful for what you are suggesting more so than the yahoo answers format where it is not so specific in its needs.
