He is an artist - if that is the one you mean.

José Sabogal (March 19 1888 - December 15 1956) was a Peruvian painter involved in the indigenist movement of his country.

WAKE UP!
You will wake up from your damnation and you will notice that nowadays society has turned into emptiness and the only think that can redeem it is art through all its expressions, whether we talk about literature or sculpture. It is a pitiful situation as those who beautify life are rare and soon will reach extinction as this society can no longer produce any form of commitment, especially towards art. So save your soul, run away from all and dream of Jose Sabogal .

Jose Sabogal

(Cajabamba, 1888-Lima, 1956) Painter and Peruvian engraver. It worked with Creek and Orozco between 1922 and 1925, from which it received decisive influences. Its work registers in the indigenista current, of which it is considered like one of his more representing conspicuos (the cachimbos, 1938). Between 1933 and 1943 he was director of the National School of Beautiful Arts of Lima, position from which encouraged a radical nationalism in the Peruvian art.
