The remastering (Done by ILM, same behind Star Wars) of the series, called Star Trek: The Original Series, will only happen first here in the United States through TV syndication programming sometime mid September. You're gonna have to wait one or two years when the remastered Season One comes to DVD.

If you are refering to digital remastering as in simply an improvement of picture quality, I do know that digitaly remastered episodes of the original series has been shown on the UK Sci-Fi channel (http://www.scifiuk.com/) recently.
If you are refering to the CGI makeover episodes that are going to add state of the art CGI special effects to the original series, well, that has only just been confirmed by the studio, so no details are concrete yet. It will however, be aired in America, so there is a chance it will be aired over here too. The episodes are being made as they go along, that is, the studio will work on and deliver a new episode each week, so it's probably going to be a while before we see a DVD box-set in either terrirotry.
