--Ginger tea, flat ginger ale, ginger crystals or rock ginger (pure crystallized ginger). You can get really good crystallized ginger at Trader Joes 6-8 oz for under $2.00. Take small bites or suck it in your mouth if you prefer. Or try the tea with a few chunks of ginger dissolved. A little it goes a long way so the amount is up to you.

--Pepperimint and spearmint (strong tea),

--Fennel (Foeniculum Vulgare) tea is said to help Colic, gas, indigestion, intestinal disorders, nausea, flatulence, boosting lactation, morning sickness, sedative, gout, weight loss, fluid and water retention, stomach cramps, heartburn, colic, kidney stones, gargle for sore throat, good for use when breastfeeding, morning sickness and excess acidity.

Of course, get your doctors advice on taking these and if you feel that there is another problem. Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

Tums helps. I also found that salty crackers helped along with ice water. The smell will stick around the 1st trimester. I could not stand the smell of cheeseburgers without getting sick. The bloated feeling will pass but tums is a big help. I went through so many of those my pregnancies which have been 3 now.
Hope all this helps..

Okay honey, you are going to "Bloat" because thats all a part of being pregnant... Unless you have Toxemia, and I dont know what they do for that now adays, but they did nothing for it, in my times of being pregnant... As for the whole honey, thing,, its bad for your "Born-Baby" but, as far as you drinking about a tablespoon for Nausea, its an organic, stomache-settler...Its so, so good for you!!! It not only help nausea, instantly, but its got antioxidants in it, and it helps fight against cavities, its also good for cuts, abrasions of any kind... For when your baby gets to being at that falling stage, I'd use that first then a band-aid.. If your doctor, or some of these other people on this page say honey's not good for prego's , then talk to your doctor about something organic, because, they'll tell you to run out and get some Mylanta, or Malox, and there's chemicals in all medicines so why wouldn't honey, be safer than any of these "Store" over the counter meds? I gave it to my oldest daughter, when she was a baby, I used to put it on her bottle nipples to get her to drink, more water... And it worked!!! It also didn't hurt her in any way!! Then they came out with this whole, FYI show, that said Honey was bad, for babies, and I quit, doing the honey thing.. But, by the time they had said that, my daughter was already having it on her bottle nipples, for about a year.. And she was fine, no sicknesses, nothing!!! So, sometimes I wonder if the people who do these "Lab" experiments on things, sometimes dont know what their talking about, at all... You know! Just double-check with your doctor... But, I have stomache problems to this day, and I always keep my cupboard stocked with dark honey, and everytime, within minutes my stomache is feeling much better!!! Thats how fast it works!!! Good-Luck, and Congratulations!! Smile!!!
