i did my project on 'chromatography'. my friends have done it on 'detergents, soaps,etc' , 'rocket fuel', 'dyes-its extraction..', from biochemistry like DNA, protein, immunity, also on subjects like 'extraction of essential oils-its structure' and also on medicines--chose a few and study the structure and the preparation...oh! i have heard about someone doing a chemical analysis on coconut water to find out what all elements are preset in it. don't worry about your project. but make sure you finish it early so that it wont be a burden later. also understand what you are doing..you'll be fine...

I finished 12 in marsh2006 .there is nothing to worry about project. u will-do the soap, shampoo,detergent formation in school. the school will take care of it.the external will not ask questions from project.for more details contact me.u plz concentrate on organic chemistry deeply.they will surely give full marks in practicals
