Yes. You have to be given breaks BUT it is not required that you are paid for them. So if you are getting paid for 15 minutes of time you are not working I would be happy. OR you could make an issue of it and end up NOT getting paid for that 15 minutes.

Sense P. Reagan, broke up most of the Labor Unions, you have no one protecting you , but the Department of .Labor.They regulate Child Labor Laws and rights of of fair Labor Laws.Since it is ran by the State and regulated by the Goverment, you can cry foul, but I doubt they will do anything quickly.
Get a job description, from your work office ,and what were you told, when hired. If you don't have one,you might be doing jobs, that you were not hired for. These is the way to go,then you may get them for more money.Do you get paid for over- time, fourty hrs.and over. There are so many screwed up ways, for them to cheat there employeesand get away with it.Most are scared to complain,in fear of losing their job.

Illegal? I don't know,but it's definitely
bulls%*& I've found that a company can do pretty much whatever they want as far as breaks,as long as there is no union.Unions regulate stuff like that, but without one I think you're at the mercy of the management and the company.

That is illegal. You SHOULD be paid for all of your breaks except lunches. So if you take a half hour lunch, you should be paid 9.5 hours. If you take an hour lunch, you should be paid 9 hours. Cheers.
