I have been having little contractions (probably Brazton hicks) and they are very irregular. However; it hurts to walk... it's too much pressure for me! Everytime I go to the bathroom I have the urge to push. (I know this is a bit much but I need advice) It feels like I have to poop but then it hurts when I try. No I am not constipatied... believe me!! I have also been having horrible back pain! Is this normal?

It can depend on what pregnancy this is for you. If you already have children, it is normal to have contractions eariler in the pregnancy (braxton hicks), but generally speaking, if you are having 5 or more contractions in an hour and you are before 35 weeks, you should call your doctor so preterm labor can be ruled out. Especially if you are having pressure and back pain as well. Better safe than sorry. Good luck! :)

Braxton Hicks can be a little painful but they shouldn't be unbareable. The pressure when you walk or stand is normal because the baby usually drops down during the last part of the preganancy. Mine was horrible. It felt like I was bruised. If you are feeling horrible back pain though that can be a sign of labor. My mom had that pretty bad. You need to call your doctor and see what he/she says to do.

I am 27 weeks.. and have been experiencing similar issues this week... I went to the doctor and luckily everything was fine... The baby had rotated, my uterus is beginning to expand even more and I am just feeling the Braxton Hicks more regular than most people. And the pressure... goodness... 4 times I was for for sure that I was about to give birth..
I think we are just getting close to our time and our bodies are changing even more. It didn't hurt though, to go to the doctor and get the one over from her.. I suggest you do the same.

Good luck and congrats with the baby.

Of course, you should be asking your OB this..... Sometimes, the baby is sitting on a particular nerve which causes discomfort. Sometimes the babu y will shift positions and you'll be more comfortable. Braxton Hicks get more frequent the closer you get to your due date. GOOD LUCK!

um you could be having false labor thats what is sounds like because braxton hicks don't hurt they are just uncomftable i think u should go to the hospital or ring the labor ward and find out but i rekon ur either gone into early labor or its flase labor. i really do think u should go to the hospital

You need to go to your ob/gyn NOW and be checked out. If it is not braxton-hicks contractions and is the baby trying to be born, you need to be seeing the doctor as it is too early for your child to be born. Please dont put off going your doctor will not be upset if it turns out to be nothing. Go today and get checked.

Your body might just be changing to adjust to baby's growth. Your hips move and this causes pain and discomfort. Definitely call your doc though and tell her what is going on. It will give you peace of mind. I hope everything is ok. Good luck!

go to the labor and delivery. don't worry about feeling foolish. if it is nothing than that's great for you and the baby, but if you are going into premature labor and don't go in so they can stop it that would be even more foolish. better to be safe than sorry. good luck.
