I think the following links will answer your questions, and some others besides. The answer lies in your definition of truth, and in purpose and meaning.
Read the “Essay” at the following link to define truth, then read the article “Finding Truth” Both are under Articles - Contents

To get an idea of just how far the general public is from the truth, read the short article called Supreme Law here:

To learn something and to have some fun.
If your interested let me suggest two books that are interesting reads indirectly on this subject. Many people have to read the first at some point but when being forced to read it in school don't take the time to think about the message it delivers. The second is the same author similar theme but different direction.
Jonathan Livingston Seagull
and
Illusions (The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah)
Enjoy

In evolution the only thing that counts is the continuation of life and the survival of the species. The whole of living nature is geared toward that purpose and each of us as individuals are important only because of our potential to procreate.
That is the sense of our life, to pass on life and thus perpetuate the homo sapiens sapiens species.
We came to this world without anybody asking us, but if we procreated (had children) at death we will have fulfilled our purpose.
Before childless people start falling over me, let me clarify that even people who did not have children themselves, helped perpetuating life and species by being a member of our society. Our society is the cultural means toward the optimal perpetuation of the species.

GOD people say is 'very powerful' and 'very fair'. Now if this god created this world if he is to be 'fair' he should have asked "people" if they would like to play this game which has both pain and happiness? do you think "people" would have accepted this game.
No .... No way. No one will accept it because just take this case if i tell you that i will give you 10 billion dollars if i can chop off your nose/ear/2 hands. Will you accept this offer, no way because pain is too "painful" to be accepted under any circumstance.
So if god gave the offer, "people" would not have accepted.
And if god did not give a choice and just created people then he would be "unfair" which is against the definition of god.
------
Now look at this possibility. Now god which is an abstract entity decides that he will make a billion copies of himself and each of these entity is an unit of "life", and decides to play this game. Highly possible because he is not being unfair.
So in this scenario, you are a "piece" of god himself. You have decided to play this game, just the important aspect of this game is when you are born[basically when you occupy a new body] your memory is zero, that is you do not remember any of your past.
Now coming your question. "The end of life is death, so why to come in this world?".........You are part of god, you yourself have decided to come into this world to play this game called life, just that you do not remember. After you die probably until you occupy the next body probably you will get a chance to analyze how you played this particular game in this life as "swati"......so the reason for coming to this world is simple "just to play your own game".

...propagation..........go forth and miltiply or pre biblical do what coes naturally. It is a silly concept ,isn't it.
Think about it...name your great grandfather.........some impact huh?
But that's not why we're here at all, because of maybe but not for. The truth is if there was an answer we would all be dissapointed and just quit! The real fact is most of us are decoys!
Thats right decoys. If we were all Jonus Salk or Thomas Edison what differance would we have made. Some people are cut out for great things and the rest us are just decoys.
The secret is you don't have to be.

Don't you enjoy your life?
Some people say that we all have a mission... I don't quite believe that, I think that we are here to learn. And after death, something must come. Another life, going to the sky, or being just a mind in space.. life is just a step in a pathway. Still, there's one thing I'm sure of - we should enjoy life and do whatever we can to be happy

Dear swati ,
Just as day & night exist so do life & death. Its a cotinuous process.Death is also a temporary state (like sleep during night) which again gives rise to life.
Just as austranauts who go into space do not experience day & night ,so too those enlightened humans who rise to a higher & subtler level of consciousness of mind no longer are bound by life & death which is only a temporary state at the physical level.
We don't come (birth) into this world by choice nor do we leave (death) this world by choice. Many factors decide our span of life & the way we live it.Some % of it is in our own hands(purushartha) and the rest is fate/destiny(prarabdha)-woven by our own past deeds : Reactions of our own past actions bearing fruits(just like different trees taking their own time to bear fruits, with various factors influencing their growth)in this life early or later or in the next.
Our unfulfilled desires drag us into this world of duality/plurality living in which we multiply our desires manifold leading to dissatisfaction at time of death from which springs forth the birth of yet another life.
You may refer to the story of 'The Ascetic & his lion cloth " by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa .

Out of all the eggs..you came to be. That is a miracle in itself. I do not think we are all meant to be rich and famous and brilliant and beautiful. I kind of like a diverse world. Do not worry about death..as you have said..it is inevitable. Concentrate on living in joy and be blessed everyday by watching for those special things you can do to enhanse your personal world for yourself and for others.

Who said that the end of life is death ?
Even though eventually you will die, Swati, your life goes on.
When you reproduce, your life mixes with the life of another person. This creates a new life which is the combined parts of both.
So in effect you have propagated your life. You have passed it on to your kid. This means that for a little time your life was lived in two individuals, one in yourself and one in your baby. When you die, your life is ended but the part of your life that you passed on to your baby, lives.
Therefore your life never actually ends. It passes on and on and on and on.
