Survivor is one show that I do watch. Too many people are complaining about how the contestants are divided this time. If they don't like it, don't watch. If it was the same everytime, with the same way of dividing the tribes, same challenges no one would watch. CBS was brilliant by doing this, look at all of the publicity it received. People that have NEVER watched the show are talking about it because of the "division of races". From a publicity stand point, they knew what they were doing.
I enjoyed the show. Every season, it takes me a few shows before I figure out which contestants I like and which ones I really want to see go home. Survivor is like my own little closet addiction.

Yep, the losing tribe consisted of 3 women and 2 men, come eviction time the 3 women elected to vote off the biggest, strongest male on their team (Sekou). This was a mistake because he would have been useful in the physical competitions that usually are at the beginnings of the show. Now they are weakened and will likely lose further challenges in the near future.

I did, I like watching it period, but because of the race thing I wanted to see what would happen. I honestly don't know what the big deal is about the contestants being separated by race. I did think it was a big switch when the losing tribe were the ones given the choice of sending someone to exile island. That was pretty cool.

I liked it--and I just like every season of Survivor, there were some characters I liked, and some I didn't--among EACH of the tribes. I think if you watch this and it makes you uncomfortable, that is a good thing, because it means you are being forced to examine your own views on race. Anyway, it's good entertaining fun.

Yes I did, but I wasn't too impressed! I've watched Survivor since the very beginning so I guess I'm getting bored with the show because it's basically the same thing over and over.

Yes and I felt uncomfortable the entire hour. Not only does it ask viewers to cheer for a specific race it puts unnecessary pressure on the contestants to represent something much bigger than 5 people can represent.
I am still confused why they would think this was a good idea. Human vs. human made sense to me but what the heck does race have to do with anything?

Yeah!! You know tha 1 dude that didnt get kicked out had a quite worried look on his face because he know they better win immunity next week or he will be the next to go. I figured they would get rid of Sekou. He kept talking about all the things he did. He didnt get fire!!!

I would love to see this show play out like the real world.
(I promise I'm not racist, just would find this funny):
The white people "scout" the area and find the best places to recover food, water and building supplies.
The black people go out and acquire the food, building supplies and the like, and bring them back to the white people.
The asians design the archetecture of the buildings, and work out the math to feed everybody on the food they have.
The mexicans build the buildings, and then start breeding. (Okay that was a cheap shot, but I laughed)
I just think this is funny. I promise I'm not racist. My roommate is black and we discussed how hilarious it would be if this show just played into the stereotypes of America.
