Terrorists have not been named that for nothing. It is terrifying when so many radicals band together and kill in the name of a religion of peace. The terrorists threaten not only the US, but eventually the world.

Imagine this: The terrorists take over the world. Are they going to be democratic or fair with their people? Will the people be able to trust them? Can the terrorists run their government in such a way that they can continue helping all the countries in the world with their problems as the USA does?

It's not possible for them to do any of the above. Why? Because they are killers who stand for nothing. They do not represent Islam!

Is the US doing a good job in combating these terrorists... They are trying, but it is very difficult without using an atom bomb, and that would be an awful things to have to use.
So soldiers are fighting and trying to plant some seeds they hope will help. They are willing to leave their families and try for it. They want to come home and they don't want to die, unlike the terrorists. Sometimes they don't come home.

We should be oh so glad they are trying though. The alternatives are too terrible to think about.

Terrorism feeds off the fight against it. Terrorism is not a tangable thing. It is an idea. Every crackpot knows exactly how to yank Americas chains and do so. Things start to get to quiet, post an e-mail, send a video. That will get "Homeland Security" moving, Against what, noone knows. Osama said he would bankrupt America as he had Russia, albeit with US help. Never forget what FDR said," We have nothing to fear, but fear itself." The wars in Afghanistan & Iraq have nothing to do with terror, they are to secure a hold on those countries, for various reasons, oil, pipelins and bases for aggression against Iran, under the guise of bringing "Human Rights" to the oppressed peoples of those countries. That was something we didn't give a da*n about prior to 9/11

No it is not and there is nothing to justify. Just look around you, terrorism has never been so strong. I'd say the world has become a lesser safe and peaceful place to be. Unless if you, as the moron in the White House, think that there is no world outside the frontiers of the USA.

Prior to 9/11 - many people merely disliked the US. There had been very few terrorist attacks on US soil, and few plans to carry them out in the future. The US had enough credibility in the Arab world to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine.

After 9/11 and the Iraq war - the entire Arab world and many other countries dispise the US, and seek its downfall. Increase in radicalisation of politics and religion. Hundreds (thousands?) of terrorist attacks planned against the US and her citizens (if the government is to be believed). Increase in worldwide terrorist attacks.

Good job Bush!!

The US government are the terrorists. They WANT terrorism to happen, because it creates an environment of fear in which people are much more easily manipulated. Do your research, don't be lazy and just get your information from the media - it is controlled by them.
