finished is a strong word but lets put it another way,,,we meet you,,we have your children,,just to carry on your name ,,and stay at home and look after them ,enabling you to go off and get a good job, give us all a good life and then just when you have made a real good living and we are certain you have plenty saved up,,we divorce you and take half of everything so as you can see,,you are not finished,,just poor.lol

Funny and true in some respects. The woman completes him when he gets married. But the days of bachelorhood are finished either for good or bad. Depending on how the marriage works out.

So sad that men think that...................
probably true if the man believes it.....that marriage is the end of him instead of the beginning of a new and beautiful union.
Men who think that should not get married and spare women the pain that she will truly wind up feeling when she is deliriously happy and he feels like a trapped animal, or defeated and used up. She will then join him in his misery, divorce will follow, joint custody, dividing and selling off assets....lawyers fighting.........oh the pain

Ha ha, yea, if my brother in law is any example.

I love how Lex says we 'have your children' when all they want is to have the kids. We just want sex, and then they act like the children are a favor. Then, the law makes us pay for the divorce (because the state could not afford all the deadbeat ex wives) and women take that to mean they deserve the handouts I mean alimony.

I haven't heard of that, and I don't think it's true you are complete through christ jesus he makes all things new, and it's ok to be single , marriage is to start a family and for companionship, love and so you won't burn with lust in your heart. lot of people are better off single.
