Pluto's existence as a significant planet is now being questioned with the introduction of three new planets.

As a Scorpion, this has serious implications for me as Pluto is my planetary ruler. Can someone tell me what this all means?

Feel free to answer this question from a purely astronomical point of view if you don't believe in astrology.

Pluto as a planet was always under doubt, as every (can't remember how many) years, it changes orbit with Uranus. Astronomers have always thought that it could be a moon from an out laying solar-system that got too close to our solar system and became trapped in the gravitational pull of our sun to orbit it.

Astrologically, it doesn't really matter if Pluto is an official planet or not, it remains know what it always has done, people's perceptions of it doesn't change that.

Everything is still there. There is just new definitions as to what is a planet and what is not. Pluto is being considered more of an asteroid, I think. But, they have found other planets lately, so really, there are lots more to come.

I think Pluto will continue to rule scorpio. It is not as if it was blown out of the sky! It is still called a dwarf planet. No worries!
