How can anyone ask that question? i could be wrong about who will be top coz my judgment will obviously be clouded, but i can tell you who will not be top this season and that is Thierry Henry or Frank Lampard. It will be a Man united player, either Saha, Rooney or Ronaldo, if he does not get suspended for being stupid or somehow for diving.

I will take Andy Johnson. he has a good record for getting goals. He has a couple for Everton already and when he last played in the EPL with Crystal palace he was among the leaders that year. He is strong in the air, he has a good shot, and like any great scorer, has a nose for goal.
My runner up would be Darren Bent of Charlton though, he has Class

I've got a funny feeling it could be Andy Johnson but I'm sure Saha, Gerrard and Henry will be up there.
So sad for Liverpool that their top striker is likely to be a midfielder - I hope the Crouch stays in form and Kuyt and Fowler do well.

It will be between Saha and Andy Johnson of Everton. As an Everton fan as long as Johnson outscores Rooney I don't care.
