You will find that this will meet code in most areas. Keep in mind that you cannot run the line inside of, or pass through the duct anywhere. The issue of dissimilar metals and wrapping the pipe is not a bad idea, but on indoor installations will not be a code requirement in most areas. It’s always best to check with your local mechanical authority. The mechanical code is generally the same across the country, some areas are just more stringent than others.

Considering that Propane tanks and lines are often outdoor in full sun blast, I don't think your furnace heat duct would get hotter than this....
Propane can only "explode" when mixed with air, which it doesn't have inside a closed copper pipe.....

The only thing you need to do is wrap the copper pipe with some kind of pipe protection tape. This would only need to be done if they are going to touch. The reason is because copper and other types of metals touching can cause both to corrode. Other than that, it's perfectly safe!

I would recommend having the copper line at least six inches away from any heat source. Propane is highly volatile and the last thing you want is an explosion.
