I don't think anybody on here has a good answer for that. You should do what you like. (ie. If you like children, become a teacher)

I just want to add my view that all the people who commented on getting your English right should STFU. Ignore them, they should get with the times. It's not bad English it's just internet speak.

I couldn't say what career is good for you as you haven't said what things interest you. If you like English, consider taking a degree in it. An English degree can lead to all sorts of jobs, so you don't have to decide what job to get til you have finished the degree. The same applies to philosophy, which is the degree I did and I loved it. Some jobs e.g. a doctor, a lawyer or something science-related require a specific degree but there's many jobs that don't.

Anyway don't worry about it, you have plenty of time left to decide what to do.

Hiya. I'd advise you to think carefully about the subjects you enjoy and make a choice from that. I'm just about to start my third year of a law degree which I absolutely love, having known I want to be a barrister for the last 10 years. However, this may not be the career for you, as it tends to take up a lot of time with heavy workloads. I took History, Law, English Lit and Business Studies at A-Level, all of which I had an interest in and as law is essay based, gave me lots of practice. Don't forget though that you may not want to go to uni. Many people go straight into work after college, finding a working life which they enjoy. I hope that helps a bit. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Obviously English, journalism, and anything that requires you to express yourself in writing is out. Oh, wait. That is everything.

Seriously, drop the gansta facade and start learning while you are in high school.

As for what career to choose, that is totally a personal decision. Do what you feel good about doing. If you go into something that you don't like just because other people tell you it will be good, you are going to hate your work and not have as much success.

I'm a senior radiographer now working in the private sector. I studied for a degree in radiography at Leeds University in 1995. It took 3 years and was hard but well worth it. I'd recommend it as a career to anyone who was interested in working within the health sector.

You really have to choose a career in a field that you will like... As they say "one wrong choice of career and one wrong choice of partner takes away 40 years of your life".
I saw a suggestion on being a VET... and it is a very good choice if you like animals and can stand animals being in pain.
With a career in computers you may work on a project basis or part-time via a temp agency so you can choose among options.
The bottomline is you have to struggle a bit to get to the comfortable zone.
Good luck in life.

Just think about what you enjoy and try to find something in that. It's easy to end up doing a job you hate for your whole life which is so crap when you have to be there for more than half of your waking life. Think about your hobbies and stuff you love - see what you need to do a job in that (especially one that pays well enough to live comfortably) and then study towards that. You won't mind how much you work if you enjoy what you do. Good luck!

Well I would say think on whats going on now. Its becoming a tech world. Computers and other electronics/ electricity its the most popular. You can be a delivery doctor baby's are born every day that's not about to change and machines can never take that job. Or fixing up dead people they are not about to stop dying either. think of the future and can machines take u r job. I'm taking Office Management i think I need to change soon to something more for the future.

it depends on your interests its better to do a job which you enjoy than one you hate and get no plesure out of doing. Remember its your life you are talking about dont just jump into something that you will not be completely happy with bcoz it will make you misrable and give you regrets for the rest of your life. Talk to a teacher or career advisor to find your best options.
