What does help a little bit and which is easier to use are these new creams that have some colour but are not true self tanners. Like Johnsons Summer Shine etc... They promote giving a slight glow to your skin. It makes my legs slightly better and hey those stretch marks need all the help they can get. Good Luck!

Whats so wrong with wearing jackets? they're pretty hot this season!
I think self tanner WILL hide your stretch marks, so its worth a try. i have stretch marks, but only on my upper thighs, so no-one can see them. i dont use anything to hide them. But, with healthy exercise and eating healthily, this can help them go away.

No a self tanner will actually make it worse. Try cocoa butter for the stretch marks.

Nope! Unfortunately that stuff clings to all the wrong things, like any blemishes your trying to cover up! They sell stretch mark lotions and creams I would try those. Other than that it will just take time for them to calm down and not be as noticeable. Good Luck.

It makes them ever so slightly less noticeable, but using creams will be much more effective. Tanning can be extremely detrimental to the skin. The body only needs 15 minutes of sun a day to absorb a healthy amount of vitamin D. Anything more than that can be harmful. Tanning causes 80% of the skin's aging.

I know that natural tanning tends to make scars and other skin imperfections more promonent. Plus, it tends to make them worse in general.
I would not try it.
