Advantages:
A mouse works very well for navigating a graphical user interface, such as Windows or Mac. With additional buttons and a scroll wheel, increasingly complex functions can be done from a mouse. These include opening, closing and minimizing software; grouping, moving and deleting files; and even image editing with software like Photoshop. In my experience, a mouse is better for fine movements and adjustments than most of the alternatives.
Disadvantages:
An external mouse requires space, making it nearly impossible to use on an airplane. A mechanical mouse needs to be cleaned regularly or it will get clogged with lint and dust. The cord on most mice can get hung up and drag, making the mouse difficult to use.

Advantages are the ability to maneuver around a computer monitor fairly easy with having to use a keyboard. The disadvantages could be that the mouse doesn't take technology far enough. There is technology for disabled people that will perform the same function as a mouse by watching their eye movements through a camera.

Am I the only one who thought of it as the animal? Because the advantages of a mouse are that they are small so can get into lots of different areas. This also means that they eat less. They also have fur to keep them warm. They don t have means to make complex meals though so they can t enjoy many different foods unless they are scraps. They also can t reach things that are high up so they need everything to be small and close to the ground.

If you didn't have a mouse, you would have to use the arrow keys to get around the screen.

You can be slow and ponderous as a mouse, and therefore when you eventually reach the mousetrap, one of your more hasty cousins will have already tripped it, leaving you clear to eat all the cheese at your leisure.
