I used to get a lot of Asian men who smell of curry a mile away like smokers smell of ciggarettes. I hate those smells with a passion, but I love the smell of curry on food and make my own curries. Why is this?

This is not racist because I am African and blacks cannot be racist. I just do not like smell of curry on people.

Same with garlic. I love the smell in food or cooking but can't stand garlic breath. Even worse than smokers' breath.

Because the smell of curry on people is mixed in with lots of sweat and although some of the smells are recognisable, there are others that we dont like (BO i particular). People smelling of food is generally a sign of bad hygiene. I don't even like it when I leave a restaurant and my partner smells of food.

Because asians eat a lot of curry they smell of it, the smell is not from their mouth but it comes from their skin in their sweat, so really you are just smelling curry flavoured sweat which is why you consider it to be an unpleasant smell.
