A more important question might be "why do people in the US REFUSE to let the Japanese forget about the sneak attack on Pearl Habour, when the US did EXACTLY THE SAME THING to Mexico 100 years earlier?"

They are utterly incapable of forgetting what the Japs did to them in 1940, but just let anyone, especially a Mexican, remind them of THEIR war crime against the Mexican people and they are rudely told to "get over it!"

As usual the ****** has one standard for himself and another one for everyone else! (And they wonder why everyone hates them........)

I work at Pearl Harbor and there are many Japanese tourist that come to see what caused such a great loss of life there. Japan attacked us when we were not at war with them and it is very much like what the terrorist did at the World Trade Center.
I think that you feel when we talk about what happened we are complaining but we are just talking of a great event that is known all over the world.

To be very clear. The two countries were not at war when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor while we were at war when the Japanese cities were bombed. The Pearl Harbor attack was "unprovoked".

I've never heard anyone complain to a Japanese tourist about Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor was bombed first. We attacked Japan as retaliation.

Wow...I thought i was the only person that has raised that question.....

A lot of people still don't know about history. Through their own ignorance of facts, people say the dumbest things.

Hell, one guy in my history class said slavery never happened. No lie.
