The obvious answer would be Ronaldinho but I haven't seen him perform recently like he did last year. Steven Gerrard has been incredible and consistent in any position for club and country so he has to be right up there. Torres has been excellent also and Henry remains the only thing keeping Arsenal in a decent position (although not this season so far).
I think the vote really has to go to Gerrard with a lot of the usual suspects underperforming this year.

It had to be zidane apart from the controversy he brought by the head butting incident. It wasn't a great tournament a lot of the so called world class stars didn't shine through e.g Ronaldinho ,Beckham, Lampard.

Fabio Cannavaro is the best player. As for goalkeper, Gianluigi Buffon is the better than any other goalkeeper. They are the best players are of the world.

WAIT AND SEE who will nominate as the best player on fifa world best player award...usually it will held at the end of the year..my favourite is zidane but instead of d headbutt i think maybe he's not-people here said it's gerrard-i agree...maybe d germans or italians like favio cannavaro and klose apart of their gud performances on 06wcup.maybe mr.lampard will win it..who knows?:)
