I was once told by somebody, that, I think, she said that a friend of mine was dating for about 6-8 years, and now, she's married by law. If I date for that long, willI i be married by law? I am not gay, I am a boy, and have a girlfriend.

In the UK common law states you have to live together under the same roof for 2 years.

But why do you want this info are you going to try and take his assets? Why not just ask him to marry you ?

DWell- it does not work that way in the USA-I think if you live with someone in Texas for 6 years- years you are considered to be in a commonlaw marriage- D
